The ASICS Sonicblast 2 is a versatile, plated super trainer that effortlessly bridges the gap between daily mileage and fast-paced tempo sessions.

Lighter, bouncier, and more energetic than its predecessor, this super trainer features a dual-density midsole that couples maximum impact absorption with an explosive, snappy toe-off. Designed with a modified, flexible forked plate and a widened heel platform, the Sonicblast 2 offers an accessible, versatile, and stable ride that cradles your foot through easy runs while unleashing effortless speed when you pick up the pace.

What to love:

• Light for its massive cushioning, providing a versatile platform that handles daily cruising, long runs, and workout-day speeds with equal ease.
• Stable and accessible:  A widened, plantsed heel base and a more adaptable, flexible forefoot.

UPPER

MIDSOLE

• Dual-Layer Foam Midsole: Pairs responsive FF BLAST MAX cushioning with high-rebound FF TURBO SQUARED foam to deliver max-level shock absorption and bouncy energy return.
• FF TURBO SQUARED Trampoline Pod: A specialized forefoot pod setup that compresses under impact and snaps back to maximize spring on every toe-off.

• Forked ASTROPLATE™ Technology: Modified forked plate geometry made of Pebax, propels momentum forward and smooths out transitions without the rigid, overly stiff feel of traditional race plates.

OUTSOLE

• ASICSGRIP Outsole Rubber: ASICS proprietary outsole that provides reliable grip on a variety of terrain.
