The New Balance SuperComp Elite v6 elevates its beloved v5 with a new foam, redesigned carbon plate and weight reduction to make this their lightest and fastest marathon racing shoe to date.

Collaborating with world-class athletes, including triathlon world champion Alex Yee and American marathon record holder Emily Sisson, New Balance has refined everything runners loved about the SC Elite v5 — the signature softness, smooth rocker, and approachability. The SC Elite v6 sheds a massive weight while sharpening its focus on pure marathon efficiency. Powered by high-rebound Infinion foam, a redesigned carbon fiber plate, and Energy Arc geometry, it delivers a bouncy, highly stable, smooth and reliable ride across any pace for marathon distances.

What to love:

• All-new Infinion ATPU midsole foam for a more propulsive ride.
• Friendly and approachable for a wide range of marathon paces and different foot strikes pattern.
• Great balance of comfort, softness, bounce and stability.

UPPER

• Translucenet Mesh Upper with FANTOMFIT Structure: A featherlight, breathable mesh upper engineered to maximize airflow while delivering target structural support to eliminate foot slippage during high-speed cornering.

MIDSOLE

• Infinion Superfoam: Pushes lightweight, soft, and bouncy ATPU foam technology to marathon distances, absorbing underfoot impact and returning maximum energy.
• Redesigned Carbon Fiber Plate: Purpose-built for long-distance efficiency, featuring a refined shape that provides stiffer, aggressive forward propulsion without feeling overly harsh.
• Energy Arc Geometry: Strategic midsole voids pair with the carbon plate, allowing the foam to deform and store energy before springing explosively through toe-off.

OUTSOLE

• Ultra-Thin Rubber: Lighter rubber compound with remarkable grip.
